Policy on copyright infringement and how to submit takedown notices

Last updated: April 17, 2025

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

K-Pop Demon Hunters respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement reported to our designated copyright agent.

AI-Generated Content and Copyright

Our platform provides AI-powered tools for generating images, stories, music, and videos. We take copyright seriously in the context of AI generation:

  • Users must not submit prompts designed to reproduce or closely imitate copyrighted works, including copyrighted characters, song lyrics, musical compositions, or artwork.
  • AI-generated outputs that are found to infringe upon third-party copyrights will be removed upon valid DMCA notice.
  • Repeated attempts to generate infringing content will result in account termination.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from all third-party intellectual property claims, and users assume responsibility for how they use generated outputs.

Prohibited Content

In addition to copyright concerns, our AI Services strictly prohibit the generation of:

  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content of any kind
  • Content that sexualizes minors in any way
  • Content that infringes upon the rights of real individuals (e.g., deepfakes, non-consensual likeness use)

Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Notification of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been reproduced or made accessible on our Website or through our AI Services in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify our copyright agent. For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following in writing:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the Website (including URLs where possible);
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have authorization from the copyright owner to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notification containing the following to our copyright agent:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal;
  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court, and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification.

If a counter-notification is received, we may send a copy to the original complaining party and may replace the removed content or restore access in 10 to 14 business days, at our sole discretion, unless the copyright owner files a court action.

Repeat Infringers

We take copyright infringement very seriously. We will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers, including those who repeatedly attempt to generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
